AEKU disposable range upgrades and spare parts (Cherry Lime Soda)
AEKU disposable range advice for Thailand, covering new arrivals, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
The gap between a mid-range and a premium aeku disposable range narrows once you know which components you actually use. Battery behaviour is where the Vaporesso Tarot earns its keep: the 2500 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 70 and recharges over Micro-USB.
The gap between a mid-range and a premium aeku disposable range narrows once you know which components you actually use. Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all.
Worth noting that the 510 bottom pin takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below. For budget shoppers, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge. If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month.
Two things to check before ordering: the Micro-USB socket on the base and whether the 0.8 Ω mesh coil is the newer generation. Battery behaviour is where the Vaporesso Tarot earns its keep: the 2500 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 70 and recharges over Micro-USB. We would pair the Vaporesso Tarot with a 60:40 PG/VG liquid, which is where the balance between throat hit and cloud density sits most comfortably.
Charging over Micro-USB takes about 39 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries. Comparing this against a 60:40 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 60:40 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly. Pricing in Thailand shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current THB rates rather than a fixed list price. Airflow control on the Vaporesso Tarot is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank.
The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help. Flavour tracking stays consistent from the first day to roughly the 0.8 Ω mesh mark before the profile flattens and a swap makes sense. In Thailand, availability of the 0.8 Ω mesh coil is the practical bottleneck, not the device itself.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Grape Frost Breeze: sweet, fruity, described as dark grape with a cool, brisk finish. On a 60:40 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.8 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Thailand
Availability in Thailand is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.8 Ω mesh and the Micro-USB are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 bottom pin matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and THB rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
Take the time to get it right the first time; the difference shows up over months of use rather than days.
